Method of Accepting Entries: First come, first served.
Special Qualifications: A second scored entry will be accepted in all divisions if the schedule permits. Navigators may accompany a driver more than once on the marathon if the schedule permits. Multiple entries per driver will be accepted if the schedule permits. The second entry of an advanced driver must be HC.
Levels/Divisions: Preliminary, Intermediate, Advanced
Classes: Single, Pair, Tandem and Four In Hand classes for horses and ponies.

Other Information
Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date. A Health Certificate within 30 days is required for entry into the state of Florida.
Stabling Information: The Florida Horse Park requests that shavings be purchased from the Horse Park. Early arrival or late departure must be approved in advance at the rate of $25 per night per stall. Stalls are temporary with canvas over steel frame doors.
Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 917) Yes, if the schedule permits.

Awards Offered: Class awards 1-6 place. Other special awards. Competitors will be eligible for the Florida Triple Crown Awards to be presented at the Little Everglades International for Preliminary and The Live Oak International for Intermediate and Advanced/FEI competitors.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes
Accommodations: Official Event hotel is the Hampton Inn on I75 and SR 484. Special rates are available for competitors. For reservations call 352-347-1600. Breakfast is included with your reservation. Please reserve rooms early.
Camping On Grounds: Yes. There are a limited number of 30 amp hookups available for $200 and $50 per night for early arrival and late departure. The fee for camping without a hookup is $100.
Directions to Show: From I75, take the Belleview/Dunnellon exit (CR 484) which is 1 exit south of Ocala. Turn east and go to the second light which is CR 475. Turn north and go 2.7 miles to the Horse Park entrance on the left. |
