Tentative Schedule

Stable Opens: Noon, Thursday, May 17; Secretary’s Office Opens: Noon, Thursday, May 17; Friday: Dressage, Cones. Saturday: Ring and Cross Country Classes; Sunday: Cones and Marathon. Social Events: Friday Evening Welcome Barbeque, Saturday evening Competitors party ($25 ea). Sunday: Post Marathon Reception, awards and free competitors luncheon.

Marathon Notes: A beautiful parade route through historic Pinehurst, NC  and old South residential district. Type of Terrain: Varied pavement and some grass, mostly flat, a few small hills.

Awards Offered: First Place trophy and ribbons through sixth except Concours d’Elegance First place Trophy. Division Champion and Reserve.

Other Information

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date.
Stabling Information: Nicely maintained permanent stalls, bedding and hay available on grounds.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, breakfast and lunch.
Accommodations: Southern Pines and Pinehurst is a resort area with a wide range of accommodations. See Prize list for additional information.
Camping On Grounds: Limited number of RV Hook ups. No
Directions to Show: The Pinehurst Harness Track is located on NC Route 5 in Pinehurst. From South: On US1, take Route 5 at Aberdeen (a left  from US 1). Follow Route 5 to Harness Track Fair Barn Entrance. Watch for signs. From North: On US1 take the Morgantown Road Exit in Southern Pines. Turn Right on Morgantown Rd. Proceed to the end in Pinehurst. Turn Left on Route 5 and take first left into Harness Track and Fair Barn. Follow signs.
From North:
Take Rt.1 south. After you pass the Vass exit you will enter into Southern Pines NC. Across from Hyland Hills Golf Club turn left onto N.May St. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Connecticut Ave. drive 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Tremont Place (dirt rd.). The show grounds are ½ mile on the right. From South: Take Rt. 1 north. After Kangaroo gas exit toward Southern Pines Business District onto Broad St. At the first stoplight turn right onto Morganton Rd. Stay left and the road becomes May St. At the second light turn right onto Connecticut Ave. Drive 2.5 miles turn left onto Tremont Place (dirt rd.). The show grounds are ½ mile on the right.
