accepted day of show, Secretary open for post entries at 7:00 am,
Post entries MUST be made one hour prior to the class entered.

Levels/Divisions: Junior Driver, Novice Driver Horse or Pony, Single
Horse, Single Pony, Multiples, Open VSE, Novice Driver VSE and
Draft Type.

Fees
We encourage pre-registration to avoid those early morning, very
stressful “post entry” lines. Pre-Register and your packet will
be waiting for you in the “Express” lane whenever you arrive!
We offer three rates depending on how certain you are of your
plans:
$15/class if paid on or before May 31, 2011, the “close” date. Fully refundable
at any time.
$20/class if paid from June 1, 2011 through Thursday, June 9, 2011 before
the show. Fully refundable as above.
$25/class if paid after June 9, 2011; including classes added on show day.
Fully refundable as above.
A drawing from all the pre-entries will be held on the day of the
show for a $50.00 gift certificate offered by Trinity Carriage
Shop, LLC (www.trinitycarriage.net).
Stabling: Permanent stalls with doors at Fair Hill. Straw only, no shavings
permitted. Stabling fee: $35 per night, reserved in advance (by June
1st). Stall cleaning deposit: $50, separate check please! Other fees:
If applicable, ADS $30 non-member fee, may be credited toward
ADS membership. Make Checks Payable to: BVDC (note separate
stall cleaning fee.)

Classes
Total # of Classes Offered: 46
Summary of Classes Offered: Super Reinsmanship (ADS Super Reinsmanship
Test #1), Turnout, Working, Concours d’Elegance,
Carriage Dog, Drive & Ride, Ladies to Drive-Working, Gentlemen
to Drive-Working.
Obstacle Class Notes: Two obstacle classes will be offered, My Route/Your Route and Scurry Obstacle.
Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Two arenas with all weather footing,
other arenas are grass.
Awards Offered: Trophy and six ribbons in all classes. Please see the prize
list for awards for Concours d’Elegance. Champion and Reserve in
each division. High Score Awards: Arabian High Score Region 15 High Score PA/HA/AA Award, American Morgan Horse Association
High Score Award, Regency High Score VSE, High Score
Junior Driver, Grand and Reserve Champion of Show. Reinsmanship
will decide ties. Points weighted based upon number of entries in
class. See Prize list for requirements for all awards and for details
on the points system.
Misc. Class Info: Marathon style vehicle for single and multiples
entries is acceptable – should be presented clean and tidy as if for
presentation. Hats, Gloves, Whip and Aprons are required. Please
see ADS Rules for class specs.
Divisions: All equines must be at least three years old to compete.
Single Horse: Horses over 14.2h.
Single Pony: Ponies 9.3h to 14.2h. A registered horse of a breed permitting
horses to be 14.2h or under (ie Arabian, Morgan and Quarter
Horse, etc.) may show in either Division (horse or pony).
Novice Driver: Driver who has not won 3 first place ribbons in ADS
recognized driving shows, driving a horse or a pony.
Junior Driver: Junior Drivers are drivers whose completion age is under
19 and who will not reach their 19th birthday in the current calendar
year. Any Junior Drivers under the age of 14 must be accompanied
by a knowledgeable adult. All Juniors Drivers must wear an approved
helmet whenever on a carriage or mounted. “Junior A” Drivers are
drivers whose competition age is 10 and below and who will not
reach their 11th birthday in the current calendar year and are not
eligible to drive in any class at this competition.
Multiples: Pairs, Tandems, or Four-in-hands.
Open VSE (Very Small Equines): Single, Pairs and Four-in-hands not
over 9.3h, Driver not eligible for Novice Driver.
Novice Driver VSE (Very Small Equines): Driver who has not won 3 first
place ribbons in ADS recognized driving shows, equine not over 9.3h.
Draft Type Single Horse/Pony: Offered for pleasure drafts and heavier
draft crosses. To show under general ADS Pleasure Driving Rules,
NOT ADS Draft Breed; light pleasure harness is required; gaits are
as listed under general pleasure driving classes. For safety purposes,
trace chains are prohibited. Management reserves the right to cancel,
combine or split classes as entries warrant, Draft Type entries will be
incorporated into Single Horse/Pony divisions if not enough entries.

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within one year
of show date

Misc. Show Information: Fair Hill is a State park, All dogs must be
leashed at all times. Bring and use muck tubs to clean up around
your trailer.

Directions to Show:
From North - Take I-95 South through Delaware into Maryland and take
exit 109A (Route 279). Take Rt. 279 towards Elkton and turn right
onto Route 213 North. Continue on Route 213 North to Route
273. Turn right onto Route 273 and continue to Gallaher Road.
Turn right onto Gallaher Road. Show grounds will be on your left.
Watch signs for trailer-van parking.
From South - I-95 North to Exit 100, Route 272 North. Follow Route
272 North for five miles to Route 273. Turn right onto Route 273
East and continue for six miles. Go through the intersection of
Route 273 and Route 213 passing the Fair Hill Inn. Continue to
Gallaher Road. Turn right onto Gallaher Road. Show grounds will
be on your left. Watch signs for trailer-van parking.
