Method of Accepting Entries: First come first served. Management reserves the right to refuse any entry and to combine or split classes depending upon the number of entries; number of entries limited to 50 with a waiting list.
Special Qualifications: Please specify Limit or Open on Training horse entries. Ponies may be split by height in the training group. This is to allow for more ribbons to be given.

Entry/Class Fees: $120.00; Post Entry Fees: $150.00 Entry Fee Refund Policy: Full refund with vet certificate or doctor’s statement up to 6 p.m. the Thursday before competition. No refund for meal ticket if purchased. Stall Fee: $60.00—very limited number of stalls available Stall Deposit: $50.00; Pen Fee: $35.00 (Must clean pen before leaving.) Stabling Information: Limited amount of permanent stalls. Ponies will placed in smaller stalls. May bring your own pens to place near your trailer for a $15 fee. Limited outside pens available. Stalls and pens given assignments by postmark date.
Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 917) Yes, per ADS rules if spacing and time permits
Misc. Show info: Welcoming complimentary pizza party for competitors, grooms, navigators, and volunteers. Catered dinner Sat. evening, $22 for adults $16 for those under 18 years of age and under. Must be pre-purchased with entry. No refund on Sat. meal purchase if your entry must be cancelled. Meal tickets will be donated to volunteers. Silent auction Fri. and Sat. Vendors welcome, but will be assigned space. Vendors may not set up until Thurs. morning. Golf carts: $175 for the weekend. Request must be sent in with entry. BITS will refund $25 if they can use the cart Sun. at 7:30 a.m. for the marathon.
Awards Offered: Ribbons in each class to six places; special awards for overall division champions; ribbons for best Dressage and best cones in training, preliminary and intermediate divisions; best preliminary and intermediate marathon. Chair awarded to best overall in Training, Preliminary and Intermediate. Food Available on the Grounds: Yes. Lunch available on the grounds Sat. and Sun. for purchase. Complimentary continental breakfast on Sat. and Sun. (donations accepted)
Accommodations: Lots of local motels in Ames and Story City.
Camping On Grounds: Yes. Primitive. No electricity available. May bring generators.

Directions to Show: 1-35 to exit 116; west ½ mile to T-intersection at Dayton Avenue; turn right 1 mile to second T-intersection at 180th Street and turn left (west); Cross the bridge and ease left after the bridge and go about 1/2 mile and turn right onto 550th Ave. (this avenue is not marked well, it is the first right Road). Once on 550th Ave go 1/8 of a mile and turn into the first place on the right, 17830 550th Ave, Ames Iowa 50010.
