Special Qualifications: The Show Management reserves the right to combine, divide, or cancel classes or divisions if the number of entries warrants such a change. Novice Single Horse/Pony, Novice Driver and Junior Driver entries are not allowed to cross enter divisions.

Summary of Classes Offered:
Friday: Dressage and Timed Obstacles. Dressage Test(s): Training Test #1, Preliminary Test #1, Intermediate Test #4 Friday Evening: Non Pointed Specialty Class: Metamora Horseless Carriage. Saturday/Sunday: Five Pleasure Divisions include: Turnout, Reinsmanship, Working, Pick Your Route, Your Route/My Route and Metamora Pleasure Drive -Turnout. Novice Single Horse/Pony and Novice Driver Divisions include Turnout, Reinsmanship, Working, Pick Your Route and Your Route/My Route. Junior Driver Division includes Turnout, Reinsmanship, Working and Pick Your Route. Concours d’ Elegance Class and Invitational Grand Champion Class. Concours d’ Elegance is judged throughout the show on overall impression. Non Pointed classes to include: Ladies to Drive (Adult), Gentlemen to Drive (Adult), Meadowbrook/Road Cart, Metamora Silver Whips (Very Adult), Antique Vehicle and Metamora Carriage Dog. Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Grass/Grass; dressage arena measures 80 meters x 40 meters
Metamora Pleasure Drive – Turnout Notes: Rules of Road Apply, Slow Moving Vehicle sign required, Spares and appointments required. The course will be approximately 3-4 miles in length. Type of Terrain: Scenic public gravel roads, some hills, brakes or breeching recommended.
Obstacle Class Notes: Outside of fenced area except for Junior Drivers; Ring/Warm-up area Footing: Grass/Grass
Awards Offered: 6 ribbons in all classes. Division winners (based on combined placings in dressage class and timed obstacles) in Combined Challenge receive ribbon and award; Pleasure Division Championships: Ribbon and Commemorative Award, Reserve Championships: Ribbon; Concours d’ Elegance: Ribbon and Commemorative Award; Invitational Grand Champion: Ribbon and Commemorative Award.
Misc. Class Info: House rules apply in Metamora classes. The Metamora Horseless Carriage Class is for carriages on display Friday Evening. Only the carriage and appointments will be judged and the vehicle need not be entered in any other class. The Metamora Carriage Dog Class follows the ADS class specifications except no dog may run behind, beside or at the carriage axle. Wire wheeled vehicles are not allowed unless the vehicle is an antique with long spokes and hard rubber tires. Classes for small ponies are open to any equine 12.2 hands and under. See Prize List.

Other Information

Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins dated within 12 months of the date of the show. State of Michigan requires Veterinarian Interstate Health Certificate dated within 30 days of the show for all out of state equines.
Stabling Information: Professional tent stabling with 10x10 stalls and 2 bags of shavings. No shavings included with tack stalls. Additional shavings available on the grounds at $7.
Misc. Show info: Competitors should have a portable AM/FM radio as the show sound system is transmitted on a local channel. Golf carts are recommended. For cart rental contact: Burlington Golf Cart Rental at 248-673-1679 by June 24th.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, starting the morning of the July 8th.

Directions to Show: From I-75, take Lapeer exit 81 (M-24), go North on M-24 19 miles to Dryden Rd. Turn east on Dryden Rd. and go 3.6 miles to Barber Rd. Turn right and go .6 miles to Windrush Farm, Following MCDA signs. From I-69, take Lapeer exit 155 (M-24) south approximately 7 miles to Dryden Rd. At Dryden Rd. follow same directions as above.
