Carriage Driving 101 Series in Ames Iowa
The staff members at Three G Farms, Ames, Iowa, are presenting "Carriage Driving 101," a series of six Saturday seminars in January and February to introduce folks to the art and science of safe carriage driving.  The seminars will be a combination of video presentations and hands-on experiences to walk people through selecting a horse, carriage, and harness, harnessing and hitching, training a horse to drive, clinics and events available for drivers, and mental and physical readiness for the human and horse athlete. 

Seminar dates are January 3, 17, and 31, and February 7, 14, and 21.  The seminars will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Ames Pizza Ranch, just off I-35 at exit 113.  After lunch, the group will adjourn to Three G Farms, where participants can experience  many of the things we have been discussing.
