CDSGKC Recreational Driving Adventures
The executive board of CDSGKC is offering recreational drives for our members
and non-members as well. Our goal for 2023 is to start out safe and simple. We
are proposing three drives this year. After much discussion we think that having
our drives on private property is the wisest idea. To fulfill our goal for safety, each
driver will have to pass a safety check before they are allowed to drive. If
necessary, we will help each driver achieve compliance with a safety check.
Drivers are encouraged to wear helmets; however, a helmet waiver will be
available for drivers who choose against a helmet. All drivers will sign a
CDSGKC release of liability.

BVDC FALL FROLIC
at Fair Hill
October 29, 2023 at 9:00 am
This year the Teddy Bears are going to
have a well deserved break from their fall
picnic while we try out a new idea - a
low-key pleasure show with fun classes
such as a Picnic Class, a Carriage Dog
Class, and a Pleasure Drive Pace. After
seeing Gail Aumiller’s presentation on the
Picnic Class, several members got excited
about participating in a low key version of
this unique class. As a result this event
started taking shape and is now officially
on the calendar!
The show will take place on the last
Sunday in October at the Gallaher Rd
showgrounds (same area where the Teddy
Bears’ Picnic was held).
In addition to the Picnic Class, the
Carriage Dog Class, and the Pleasure
Drive Pace, there will also be classes for
Turnout, Working, and Timed Obstacles/
Reinsmanship (held together).
The show committee includes Tracey
Freeman, Bill Venditta, Jane Oehler,
Leslie Bottaro, and Jamie Guiberson. Of
course we are looking for volunteers! You
may contact Tracey if you’d like to
volunteer or better yet, sign up online at
